The emails your shop sendsLink to The emails your shop sends
In your back office: Email templatesEmail templates has the 13 emails your shop sends for you, in groups: Orders, Downloads, Questions and Reminders and hellos. Each card says when it goes, and shows its subject and first lines.
Emails buyers need, like their receipt, say Always sent. Most of the reminders and hellos have a switch. Your wording marks the ones you’ve changed.
The layout, your logo and your colours stay the same, so you can’t break anything.
Changing the wordingLink to Changing the wording
Open an email from Email templates. Under The wording, change the Subject line, the Heading (the big friendly line at the top) and the Main text. Leave a blank line to start a new paragraph.
To put in a detail like First name or Order number, put your cursor where it should go and tap the detail. A detail the email can’t fill in would come out blank, so it warns you.
The preview fills it in with a pretend customer and your real products. Send me a test sends it to you, and the bar at the bottom saves it. The next one out uses your words.
Going back to the original wordingLink to Going back to the original wording
On an email you’ve changed, press Reset to default. Go back to the original wording? asks first, then Yes, reset it puts back the wording the shop started with.

The welcome email, basket reminder, review request and back in stock alerts each have a switch, on their card and at the top of the email. It’s the same switch as in Automations. Emails about orders, downloads and questions always go, because buyers need them, and so does a drop’s email to the people who asked for it. Download updated is switched in Settings, Downloads.
The email logLink to The email log
In your back office: Email logEmail log lists every email your shop has sent, newest first. The tabs show Everything, Sent and Failed, and Queued or Skipped when there are any. Choose a kind of email, or search by email address.
Newsletters, basket reminders, back in stock and drop emails show whether they were opened and clicked. Others say Not tracked.
Tap an email to see exactly what they got, when it went, when it was first opened and clicked, its order or campaign, and why, if it didn’t go through. While real sending isn’t on, it says Test mode (not really sent).
Sending an email againLink to Sending an email again
Open an email in the log and press Send again. It goes exactly as it was, as a new entry marked Sent again.
- Emails about an order or a purchase can always be sent again.
- Other emails can be sent again only if they didn’t go through.
- Sign-in and password links expire, so they can’t be sent again. Ask the person to request a new one.
- A newsletter or welcome email won’t go to someone who has since left your list, or who already got that campaign. A reminder or review request won’t go to someone who asked not to get them.
