Building up to a launch? Show a product as coming soon, email everyone who asked the moment it’s on sale, and say how many there will ever be.

- Step 1: Open the product, then More options and Release it on a date.
- Step 2: Switch on Release it on a date, then choose the day in Goes on sale on and the time in At. It’s your shop’s time.
- Step 3: Save it. On a new product the button says Save, coming soon.
Until then it shows as coming soon, with a countdown. At that time it goes on sale by itself, within a minute or so, and its status changes to In the shop. Coming soon on Products lists everything waiting, and a Next drop section on your home page can count down to it too.

While a product is coming soon, its page asks buyers for their email with Notify me. When it goes on sale, everyone who asked gets one email with a link to it. If you put it in the shop early yourself, they get the email then.

Open Limited edition under More options and type How many there will be. The product page shows the edition size and how many are left, counting paid orders. Leave it empty for an open edition.
The edition size is what buyers see. Your stock count still decides when it sells out, so keep How many have you got? at what’s left to sell.
